Order for Enforcement of the Act on Protection of Names of Specific Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products and Foodstuffs The Cabinet established this Cabinet Order based on Article 2, paragraph (1), items (iii) and (iv) of the Act on Protection of Names of Specific Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products and Foodstuffs (Act No. 84 of 2014). (Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products Not Intended for Human Consumption) Article 1 The agricultural, forestry and fishery products specified by Cabinet Order in Article 2, paragraph (1), item (iii) of the Act on Protection of Names of Specific Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products and Foodstuffs (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") are the items set forth below (excluding those intended for human consumption): (i) florae for ornamental purposes; (ii) industrial crops; (iii) wood and bamboo materials; (iv) fish for ornamental purposes; (v) pearls. (Products of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Origin) Article 2 Products manufactured or processed using agricultural, forestry and fishery products as raw materials or ingredients specified by Cabinet Order in Article 2, paragraph (1), item (iv) of the Act are items set forth below (excluding those that constitute beverages and foodstuffs): (i) fodder (limited to those manufactured or processed using agricultural, forestry and fishery products as raw materials or ingredients); (ii) lacquer; (iii) bamboo materials; (iv) essential oils; (v) charcoal; (vi) wood; (vii) tatami rush; (viii) raw silk. Supplementary Provisions [Extract] (Effective Date) Article 1 This Cabinet Order takes effect from the effective date of the Act (June 1, 2015).
