Act on Special Provisions of the Radio Act Attendant upon the Enforcement of the "Agreement under Article VI of the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security between Japan and the United States of America, regarding Facilities and Areas and the Status of United States Armed Forces in Japan" Notwithstanding the provisions of the Radio Act (Act No. 131 of 1950), radio stations for the use of the United States armed forces in Japan based upon the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security between the United States and Japan are governed by the provisions of the "Agreement under Article VI of the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security between Japan and the United States of America, regarding Facilities and Areas and the Status of United States Armed Forces in Japan". Supplementary Provisions This Act comes into effect as of the date when the "Security Treaty between Japan and the United States of America" comes into effect.
