Cabinet Office Order Specifying the Methods Specified by the Cabinet Office Order as Set Forth in Article 4, item (iv) of the Act on Preventing Unjust Solicitation of Donations by Corporations Pursuant to the provisions of Article 4, item (iv) of the Act on Preventing Unjust Solicitation of Donations by Corporations (Act No. 105 of 2022), the Cabinet Office Order Specifying the Methods Specified by the Cabinet Office Order as Set Forth in Article 4, item (iv) of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Solicitation of Donations by Corporations is established as follows. The methods specified by Cabinet Office Order as set forth in Article 4, item (iv) of the Act on Preventing Unjust Solicitation of Donations by Corporations are to be the following methods and other methods that are typically considered to be methods by which an individual may contact a person other than a corporation, etc. in order to conduct consultations regarding whether or not to make a donation: (i) telephone; (ii) transmission of electronic mail (meaning electronic mail as specified under Article 2, item (i) of the Act on Regulation of Transmission of Specified Electronic Mail (Act No. 26 of 2002); the same applies hereinafter) or other telecommunications (meaning telecommunications as specified under Article 2, item (i) of the Telecommunications Business Act (Act No. 86 of 1984)) used to transfer information to specified persons who receive the information. Supplementary Provisions This Cabinet Office Order comes into effect as of the date specified in Article 1, item (i) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act on Preventing Unjust Solicitation of Donations by Corporations (June 1, 2023).
